No matter what Key combination I use I cant seem to jump to follow an AI aircraft. Im using the key mappings as default but i can only get views from my own aircraft or a free view of other traffic. Any help would be much appreciated

There are a number of custom views that follow individual AI aircraft, but X-plane's own won't because X-Plane is unaware of any externally-created aircraft. You can choose what aircraft to follow by clicking on one in the flight schedule board, on the radar, on the flight plan view or selecting one on screen, or using the standard X-Plane next/previous AI. There's much more detail in the manual.
