Does AH2 not allow you to use autopolot for your test flight for a new purchased plane as well as default planes not flown yet ? I have it engaged and set up on my 737 but it will not hold altitude or heading
AH2 doesn't prevent use of the autopilot during type rating flights, or any flights.
