747 Classic Progress

I know the overhead panel will be 100% functional, can you give me a percentage on the F/E panel functionality please?
It's going to be near enough fully simulated. Certainly the key systems like hydraulic, electrical, engine bleed, fuel and pressurisation systems have been simulated to a deep level.
-
Where can you find the water injection system controls, since I know JF will be including this system too.
Also love the new cabin screenshots you uploaded, is the cockpit connected to the cabin so we can walk around in flight?

Usually the more systems modelled, the lower the performance unless on super pc’s.
Any word on how it’s doing in this regard with the testers? -
These systems are coded outside of the sim and are able to utilise multi-core threading to keep any performance hit negligible.
The systems have only just gone out to the beta testers. At the moment it's not possible to accurately gauge performance as the model won't be optimised until the end of development.@Captain-Bakon said in 747 Classic Progress:

It's not part of the VC model as that's not good for performance. You can however walk around it freely, but you'll initially access it as one of the pre-defined camera views (alongside the normal wing, nose, gear external views).

Can we expect to fly this bird next month? I'm really excited
-
How is the work going, has beta testing started?
-
Is there going to be custom sounds like switches, ac packs, avionics cooling fans, etc?
-
Is the night lighting almost complete?
-
Can you please forward this on to the relevant department please. I would VERY MUCH enjoy, appreciate and INSTANTLY PURCHASE the upcoming 747 Classic from Just Flight. This looks very exciting. Can you please add in my FAVOURITE airline of all time, British Caledonia as a livery option please, I would love to see the that repaint on the 747.

Just saw the pics of the night lighting just one question: will there be a way to control the brightness or is it on/off?

We'll be releasing a number of livery packs for the 747, so I'm sure we'll cover British Caledonia in one of those.

Each lighting circuit is independently controllable and fully dimmable. It's powered by the latest version of RealLight.

Is July a good month for the initial release?

No, not realistic. Not too long after that but no firm news on release just yet.
Thanks for your interest.

I've been told in the 2nd post we will be seeing it this summer.
