747 Classic Progress

Yep this plane is vaporware now, I do hope it will get released in the near future. Maybe this year possibly.
This really sucks because I always wanted to fly a decent 747 classic especially since the days with the CLS 747-200. -

I'll assume, out of goodwill, that you don't and that what you meant to write was "this plane is taking a very long time to make because it is so big and complicated.".

@Derek Hello Derek
Yes I know that Vaporware is software that has been advertised but has not yet been released either due to delays or continued development. What I was trying to say was the 747 Classic is taking much longer than we all expected. I am concerned about the project at this point and I am hoping development will continue.
I did hear it was an issue with the development of the 3D model. Whatever it is I do hope it will be resolved very soon. The reason I say this is because I care about the product and I want to see it in our sims!
To be honest I'm glad you chose the 747 Classic as the project, not too many 747 classics out there for P3D v4.

Not sure where you heard that. We're currently awaiting a new build for testing that will incorporate the completed autopilot. It's taking a while, but such is life.

CLS?? Surely you jest? I think you must have meant the RFP 747?

Any progress?

None that we can really show you. Awaiting a new build at the moment.
-
Thought I know that frequently asking something about the progress is useless, but I wonder what is the main trouble that cause the delay.
-
Hi all,
Out of curiosity is the 747 yet in a state where we could potentially see a video or two? Doesn't need to be anything substantial but I'd be interested to hear some of the internal sounds if those have been finished.
No need to worry too much & I understand if you'd prefer to wait until there are some more substantial development updates butif it doesn't distract too much I'd very much appreciate anything that whets the appetite!Regards,

Hi, developers
It seems that another 747cl project of felis is coming soon, however it is for the x-plane. I wonder how is the development of the justflight one, what is the main reason that causes the delay of the progress?
Thanks. -
Hi there. Yes, our 747 is for P3D and then MSFS. It is not for X-Plane.
The main reason for the delay is that the 747 is a very large and complex aeroplane. However, we are progressing and hope it will be completed soon.
-
I don't know - it will depend how long it takes to complete it. When we have more new we will make announcements. Thank you for your interest.

Totally understand your decision behind you cancelling plans for an XP version, though I would like to know if such plans do also apply to your upcoming A300 (I of course hope that this will not be the case)
-
The 747 was planned for P3D from Day 1, not X-Plane. I think it's unlikely we'll do an X-Plane version, but we might if there is any demand. X-Plane 12 is coming out soon of course, which might complicate matters.
The DCS version is definitely cancelled :-)

@derek is there any information on what is currently being worked on in relation to the addon? Systems, model, animations, sounds, etc? I really hope there’s some fixes being applied to the model, and if that’s the case, take as long as you all need.
