My Views on the Just Flight L-1011 TriStar Professional

I recently purchased the Just Flight L-1011 Professional and I find this addon product to be very crappy and some of the items do not work at all. The manual does not explain how to use the items in detail and it does not match the items found in the product itself. Everything in the manual is very vague. The aircraft does not respond to my control inputs and does all kinds of wild maneuvers. Even with the auto-pilot engaged, it does not fly the commands that I put into the auto-pilot. The INS doe not work and function as it should, and I followed EVERY step that's shown in the manual during the tutorial. I found one item where the manual would have you to click on the wrong button that kept one item from working. The INS mode selector knob does not move nor rotate at all, and seems that you have to hold down the mouse button to make it rotate, and it still does not rotate correctly. And why is it that one has to hold down the mouse button in the first place, not to mention that the manual did NOT specifically say anything about having to hold down the mouse button. The ISN NAV Ready light NEVER comes on as it should, even after the alignment has been carried out. I am very disappointed in this aircraft with how the manual is written very vaguely, how the aircraft suddenly performs wild maneuvers, and how many of the knobs and items are not working as claimed by the manual. I expected a lot more out of this aircraft, it being called a Professional version and the cost of the product.

You may be best off contacting Support to see if they can ascertain why you are having so much trouble flying the aircraft.

@kmanning Yes, that's the one - but read the review first and it may be of some help. Also, there is an hour long flight here in Russian that is actually quite easy to follow, even if you don't have the lingo:

FSX, Just Flight, L 1011Tristar, Macau to Kai Tak Hong Kong.
I made this as a reference point, for the Just Flight, TriStar, autopilot use. ILS 111.95 88, Stonecutter 236, Hong Kong 377. Scenery is, Kai Tak 3D, but I've lost the grass surrounding the runway. Using the ai flight plan will disable all other flight plans, so I removed it (or modify it). VRef 145 + 5 = 150 kts.
