How's progress on the Fokker 100/70?
-
@celti Development on the F70 and F100 is progressing very well with some key milestones being accomplished in the last couple of weeks.
We're aiming to have a few more in-development updates ready next month showing off what we have been working on.
With regards to early access, we have no plans to provide any form of early access for any of our products. We prefer to keep all of the testing within our normal beta testing groups and then release a completed product once it is ready.

I am also very excited about the Fokker 70/100! A magnificent aircraft, which is finally coming into the flight simulation scene in a proper way.
The year is slowly drawing to a close. Is there any new information? In January of this year you could already see a remarkable state of the Fokker. Hope for a nice Christmas present? :D -
There is some news here folks - We have made a lot of progress on the F100 in the last few months, and we have a lot to share. We're just working on fixing a few issues that are preventing us from taking screenshots of the latest build, then we should have the first of a series of major development updates to share with you.
Sorry for the period of silence.

@Voice-of-Reason thanks for the reply, looking forward to the update.

Anyone interested in RW tech manual:

Apparently it is capable of autoland... which is a "good to know". 🤔

Thanks for the dev update, loved it!
As strange as it might sound I am very happy to get the mulitple door configs. When I did my MX apprenticeship on the Fokker fleet I loved the fact that our company didn't get all frames new from factory so they all had their own configurations both inside and out. Apart from difference in door configs we had differences concerning lavatories/closets and seats, but also the upward opening cargo doors as well as downward (which had an easy step to get in the belly hold). I think my company never used the L2 serice door for catering (bc the fact that damage to the wing and/or engine was huge a risk) but those doors were lovely for maintenance jobs inside the cockpit or cabin. Only way to get some fresh air by opening fornt door(s) and the service door when the a/c was inside the hangar.
After release I'll have to repaint OFK OFL and OFO in KLC colors to have all external door configs.

I wonder, because the RJ is out now, if we could have some news about this bird?

Latest news is up here: https://www.justflight.com/in-development/f70-100-professional

yup but it's 2 months old ahahah

The F70/F100 development team is largely separate from the RJ Professional development team, so significant progress has continued to be made on the project throughout the RJ's release period. We aim to share a further in-development update on the F70/F100 before the end of the year showing the latest progress.
