Starting the Duchess 76 in a Cold & Dark State

Hi,

Is there a way to set the Duchess 76 to start cold and dark?
I read somewhere that if you save a flight in a cold and dark state then load this up and change the aircraft then the second aircraft will also be cold and dark. So I saved a default Cessna 172 in a cold and dark state and then changed to the Duchess 76 and saved that as "Duchess 76 Cold & Dark". But when I load that flight since it starts up most times with the engines running and most switches in the "On" position.
So what's the solution?
