TBM850 - RNAV issue.

PMS GTN 750 freeware.
Flying final approach in RNAV approach (GTN750 RNAV activated) - activate RNAV on HSI flips around to a different course (way off and maybe 80 nm out).
Tried AP GPS - App - Nav modes, result is the same.

Downloaded latest version GTN750- no cigar.
I am new to RNAV.
Tried KOAK - activating a RNAV approach, it flies correct, but my guess it flies ordinary GPS as no GS shows up.
The RNAV mode on HSI only for the VOR mod setting. Right? Guess this why the HSI flips around...
According to youtube - Stay in GPS mode. Pick a RNAV approach - activate. Seems to work, but no GS
