    Why is it after many months and 3 updates TG for X Plane 11 is STILL showing the old easyJet livery ?? The "new" livery has been in use since 2015 yet the A320 is still displaying the old livery. Further to that the easyJet A319 is showing the new livery but with an added "Europcar" panel, which I've never seen at any UK airport. Being British, I fly out of UK airports and easyJet is one of the largest UK carriers, so I want to see their aircraft in the current livery.

      @Bartdude
      I would guess that it's a consequence of the liveries being ported from the still unfinished FSX/P3D version that was started over 2 years ago now, so liveries are now outdated.

        Yes, the liveries were painted before release and so there is not much we can do about changes to them that occur after they were installed in the software short of painting new ones. That said, the liveries were painted after 2015, so it is more than likely that the painter wasn't aware of the change.

        We will probably update them at some point - up there with Thomas Cook etc

          @Derek
          Though I have decided against purchasing the XP version, I have noted that liveries are being done and released as freeware.
          Are these just in addition to, or replacements for, the existing fleet?
          It's always struck me just how greatly both FSX and XP have benefited from the inclusion of user generated content.
          Would not allowing others to build on the framework of TG in both sims be of benefit to all simmers and to JF in prolonging the life of the program?

            @Capt-Quirk

            X Plane users have been making their own liveries for the AI aircraft - this is similar to the way people repaint full-size aeroplanes using paint kits and share the liveries on sites like Avsim etc. In the case of X-Plane they seem to be mostly sharing them on X-Plane.org. They aren't included in the main program as they are freeware.

            We used to have a facility to add user generated content in FS but ditched it after Traffic 2005 as policing it became too problematic. It's certainly something we would look at in the future but very much on a user-to-user basis on a third party site as it is in X-Plane.

              Thanks, Derek, that's exactly what I was getting at...:thumbs_up: :thumbs_up: :thumbs_up:

              In fact, now I come to think of it, paintkits for each model were originally available from JF for download for the FSX/P3D version of TG, so maybe you had this in mind from way back????
