C-46 installer will not authenticate.

    I'm getting a problem when trying to install the C-46 v1.08. I keep getting a message that 'navigation to the web page has failed' and then 'Unable to confirm a valid purchase of the product' after which InstallShield shuts down. Any clues ?

    Just for info, the VC-10 authenticated and installed without a problem, so it is specific to the C-46.

    I doubt any forum users will be able to help. Your best bet will be to contact Just Flight Support and they can resolve it.
    Possibly down to an AV program blocking authentication but Support should be able to give you a definitive solution.

    Hi Derek - it seems specific to the 1.08 installer. The 1.06 installer works fine. I'll put in a support ticket as you suggest. Thanks.

    Just to wrap things up; I submitted a support ticket, and amongst the recommendations received was to have Internet Explorer set as my default browser. As I didn't even have I.E. I downloaded and installed it, and then ran the C-46 v1.08 installer. Worked like a charm. Great support from Simon - thank you.

    Odd that the other installers I mentioned had no problem, but there you go - that's computers for you. I hope this will help other users who might have the same problem in future.
