It might be one for the Just Trains team. After all, Seaspeed was a British Rail venture back in the day.

I don't know how this all works yet - is there any cross-compatibility into MSFS202 for an add-on by Just Trains?

None - apart from the 3D model. On a serious note, I think it might be something a freeware developer might consider. For a commercial developer I am afraid (pardon the pun) it wouldn't fly.
