P3D v5 Support?

@GaryG said in P3D v5 Support?:
Just checking in to see if you've been able to make any progress with the VC-10 Pro in P3Dv5?
For me this would be quite important. For a (quite) recent professional plane in this price range it would be no more then appropriate to bring out a P3D V5 version. Stopping development right after spending such an amount feels dissatisfying.

Not sure what you want to hear, but the situation with P3DV5 is that getting the VC10 fully compatible with it is something we want to do. However, it is not as straightforward as it has been with other aircraft and is not a simple task. We are still working on this and as soon as we have a solution we will get the updated version out to anyone that wants to upgrade.

Hi,
Just to jump onto this - are there still plans to add a fuel/payload manager to the VC10 to existing versions & the v5 version? I'd love to fly the bird more but the default P3D Load Manager makes it difficult to make a proper loadsheet and a lot of faff to implement the ones I make using my PFPX profile. -
I took a calculated gamble since most v4 airplanes work fine in v5. This was the first time I got one that didn't. Can't complain. I would be amazed to see an obscure British airliner be developed for v5, so I'd say that's the end of that story. Enjoy if you have v4! Set your little hearts on the somdeay v5 747 Classic instead.

I just want to add my support to making this plane P3Dv5 compatible. I can't even run it in FSX unless I disable pretty much all my scenery and other addons that use memory because this plane uses so much. For this reason I rarely ever fly it because it's so much of a hassle. I feel like I wasted my money on this one. Would be awesome to fly it in P3Dv5 where it can use as much memory as it wants and I can still have all my scenery and other addons enabled. Please make it P3Dv5 compatible.
