757 in the works

@xr219 Here's the news item about the 757 announcement. We aim to add the product to our In Development area of the site, around April/May time and then keep you updated on a regular basis.

146 - progressing yes, lots of coding work currently and the custom sounds are close to being complete now. Then it's more testing, tweaking etc along with other coding work as we head towards completion which looks like being around a month to 6 weeks away. More dev updates later this week we hope for you.
F28 - Yes progressing too. Mainly on the visual side, not too much happening on the coding side on that but that work will follow not long after the 146 releases. So expect more updates quite soon, maybe April time initially, other than the odd graphical update perhaps.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for all the updates, and the link. Looks like it’s going to be a great spring and summer 👍

Hi JF Team,
I know that you guys aren’t developing the 757 in house, but do you know if its still in the pipeline?
Many thanks.
Yes very much so, due for completion later this year. I'll see about pressing the developer a little, see if I can get a fresh dev entry update live on the site soon. Bear with...

Thanks for the quick response! 2nd ever flight i made was the SuperShuttle from Heathrow back to Belfast in KiloVictor. I was 11 and we’d been stuck at the old Gate 49 with the rest of my class for about 6 hours. I really wanted to go on the Trident, but they were all but phased out at the time and we had the pig ugly 737 on the way out. I was gutted. But on the way back, my teacher spoke to one of the stewardesses when we boarded and I got to sit in the jump seat for the whole journey home. I still have a passionate dislike of 737’s, but the 757 is really elegant, best looking jet Boeing ever made. Looking forward to this one. -
Good morning - The 757 is being developed by BlueBird Simulations so we're really governed by those guys in terms of what and when we can publish Dev updates. A couple of months ago there was an announcement that was pretty general but did point to the project becoming a much larger project than they'd originally planned for. Good news in one way of course but obviously it means it's going to take longer to develop and have ready for release. I believe their latest estimate was for a release at the back end of 2024. So that's where we're at, we've not received anything by way of an update from the team in a while. No guarantees but I hope we can start bringing more substantial updates as the door opens to the new year and then we'd hope we'll be able to give update reports on a more regular basis. That's certainly our wish and sorry we're unable to bring more news just at the moment.
Thanks for your continued interest.
