@derek well, my intention was not for a wide spanning pack for several decades(in fact there already is an extensive freeware pack with those inclined towards the 50s/60s), but just one based purely off the 1979/1980 timetables provided. It seems like it would be more easy to implement considering air travel hasn’t changed as much between now and then as opposed to now and back in the 50s. And the 80s are something everyone can appreciate, so I don’t feel like it would be as prohibitive as older airliners. If JF can find it economically viable to produce the 747 classic and A300-200, I can’t imagine that an old traffic pack to fit the mood would be too bad. That said, I can understand the apprehension, I just wanted to get it out there that I would be happy to provide some useful resources, and if for whatever reason JustFlight finds a reason to do this, I would be happy to work on the team to help gather necessary resources free of charge.

@bjorntm said in Captcha for creating a ticket not working.:

@derek the error is given by your site, not by the captcha. The error appears above the form. It seems your site is not registering the simple yes that the captcha is giving. It looks like the captcha for whatever reason is embedded in the page in an iframe which is not how you would normally embed a captcha. Anyway, I'm just trying to tell you that there might be an issue with the form. It's safe to assume that if I have this problem I'm probably not the only one. I have contacted you via email a while ago so for me it's not an issue anymore. I can only suggest that someone checks the implementation. You can close this topic now. No response is needed.

OK. We'll leave it at that. Many thanks.

Correct - our PA28 Arrow and Turbo Arrow have been with MS for some time. Likewise, they are (at present) unable to provide discounts between different products. As and when the Arrow and Turbo appear on the Marketplace there will also be a bundle, but this won't be feasible with future titles (such as the Warrior).

A bit of deja vu for the early days of Steam.

    @Capt-Quirk
    Hi
    Thanks for your response
Yes I remember the just flight aircraft with the old Microsoft 2000 flight sim but the way the graphics have changed and all programming almost unrecognisable from 20 years ago their must be a market for this.
If I may indulge a bit more it could really be a who’s who of aircraft collections!
My thinking is you are given the basic package with say half a dozen popular air show airfields and a ‘Starter pack of a Tiger Moth and AT-6 Harvard to get used to the tail dragger configuration then purchase..yes purchase additional aircraft as your competence progresses just like learning to fly the real thing.
You could then create a dedicated server for fellow members/pilots to meet up on and organise their own air shows.
A record facility would be a must so you can play back your flying from inside and outside the cockpit as well as using ‘control tower’ view like you used to be able to do.
How many times have thousands of like minded individuals been to Airshows and dreamed of flying these gorgeous aircraft.
Well if this idea was used they could get darn close!
    Good to chat.
    Planesy.

Did you check the Headset simulation option in the Audio settings of MSFS?
I think it does exactly that.

Note that the Turbo Arrow seems to have an issue with the engine sound with this option enabled, but I'm sure it gets solved with an update at some point:

@LostPilot said in Support ticket handling:

As a Zendesk admin and support lead for a software company,

Keep an eye on our SM feeds. You might be just what we're looking for.

As an aside, regarding merging of tickets, it really depends on the subject.

Customer A - submits ticket about paint textures on wings, another one about colour of propeller and a third one about incorrect seat material, for the same newly released aircraft.
Support - ascertain there is not an RTFM fix and that they're probably bugs, merge the lot and pass to developers.

Customer B - submits ticket on paint textures on wings and another one about RPM gauge going backwards and a third one about hearing sound from a multi-engine jet coming from his GA aircraft.
Support - stick first one in the 'probable bugs' pile to be fixed by devs and merge the other two for support to deal with, because they are likely to be both related to his installation or setup.

Make sense? There are no rules, really. You just have to treat each case individually. If you have a new release it is often simpler to merge all the 'possible bug' tickets from a customer than try to herd cats and treat each one as if it was coming from a different person.
