Hi, I recently purchased the PA-28 model and I've noticed that you can't look up airport frequencies in the garmin GPS units. If you go to the waypoints page and then scroll over to the frequencies tab, your selected waypoint/airport isn't respected. If you try to manually enter the correct airport while on the frequencies tab, it doesn't take the new input. I'd like to be able to use this plane to help with my training in the PA-28 the lack of this feature is disappointing. Is this something that is easily fixed?

The GNS430s used in our PA28s across various simulators are developed by a variety of third-party developers, such as Working Title (for MSFS) and Laminar Research (X-Plane). Therefore, we don't have any control over their feature sets of functionality.

We would recommend contacting the developer of the specific GPS unit you are referring to to request feature requests or bug fixes with the GPS functionality.

I use the GN430 with the F28-4000 and the Skyhawk 152 steam-gauge flying in the USA for low altitude IFR (US certified IFR pilot) and flight planning is done with a I tablet running WingXPro, that gives you all that is needed: including STARS, approach plates etc, then use that to setup the GPS unit. Also if VORs are not active (using MSFS2020) then use the GPS with the OBS option.
