hello all, i am new here, but it won't stop me from announcing a new project im planning to create with unreal engine, open world passenger sim! don't know what this is about? let me tell you!
this new open world simulator, will allow you to fly all of the worlds airlines, in any year from 1950 to date! there will be many features such as:
every airline, either active or defunct from 1950 to 2024!
every airport across the world, either closed or open!
the full flight process! (check in, security, boarding, taxi, take off, landing, customs and baggage reclaim!)
a journey planner! so you can decide on what destinations you want to fly to!
    real aircraft sounds!
every propliner and jetliner from 1950 to 2024!
every year from 1950 to 2024, so airports and airlines will either start, cease operations or change looks!
aircraft viewing areas both landside and airside at EVERY airport! so if you dont want to fly, you can watch the aircraft landside!!
but ive got a question, will anyone be willing to help me?
im autistic so im still trying hard to get to grips with unreal engine!

Do you want to create it as a standalone software using Unreal engine? Because the whole world is already modelled (to a degree) in Microsoft Flight Simulator, with numerous airports created by hand by crowds of third party developers, and let me tell you, it took the whole flight sim community worldwide just over 40 years to get to this state.
So your project definitely doesn't lack ambition.
On the other hand, if you were to use what already exists in MSFS and just add airport interior models with the services you want to simulate, that could create an awesome experience.
Unfortunately I'm unable to help much with either unreal or MSFS integration :(
    Good luck.
