Problem F28 localizer not tracked when A/P on
-
Hi all, I am a IFR pilot and know the F28-4000 well and now using the Justflight addon with MSFS2020. Flying this aircraft is remarkably realistic so well done Just Flight team.
There is however an issue which is a worry: I am using the F28-4000 with the GN430 GPS, as there ofter VOR that are not active and also use it to replace the used of ADF . So having this unit is great on the F28, wishwe had that many years ago, when flying this aircraft.
Problem I have is, that on an ILS approach, autopilot on and beam and glideslope active (both switches light up) the aircraft is NOT tracking the localizer, it does track the glideslope. I am using NAV1, not the approach option and checked this approach with a Skyhawk 172 with steam-gauges, that does lock in correctly and the F28-4000 should do this also. Any idea what is going on? Appreciate feedback on this matter please. Flight directory in heading mode did this for KMIA, ILS approach. -
Still stuck with the A/P not tracking the localizer. Here is a flight KDCA-KLGA, star: SWANN.GATBY until PROUD flix then ILS RWY 4, Loc 110.5, alt 2700ft. Leave KDCA on vector 076 to SWANN, 5000ft. After leaving PROUD flix, line up on localizer using A/P heading and then switch to BEAM and GLIDESLOPE ON, here the F28-4000 is not tracking the localizer (only glideslope). The GPS unit (GN340) set to direct KLGA, to show DME and activate Vloc , NOT GPS.
