GTN 750 Question?
-
I am new to this, I have the Analog King Air and I think it is absolutely marvelous, the more I learn about it, but what I am not getting and can't seem to find a clear answer on is the GTN750 that came with this download, it just sits there with a black screen, it's not working, it was pre-installed upon purchase and download and the configuration switches allow you to select it, which I did, I get that, but I searched around and heard everything from you have to play around with those configuration switches, ( which I did to no avail ) or down load PMS50 GTN750 or TDS ( TDS no thank you for me ) which sounds absurd if the GTN750 is already pre-installed, could someone please clear this up for me, if the GTN750 installed with the King Air does not come on and is not working, does that mean that another GTN750 can be downloaded and installed from PMS50 on top of the Pre-installed version with out it being uninstalled?....someone please clear this up.

Just to be clear, there is no GTN 750, or any GPS for that matter, included with my downloads on PC. The in-game Marketplace versions of my aircraft do include the 3rd party GPS systems where required, since they cannot be downloaded for free from the Marketplace. Let me know if you need a hand getting anything installed. I'm always here to help!

@tacannav Understandable confusion if you are new to flight simulation... welcome!
Many aircraft developers provide an option for you to use the GTN750 which is made by either PMS50 or TDS, not by BlackSquare. There is no default GTN750 unit in MSFS 2020/2024 made by Asobo currently.
The TDS version is a 1:1 recreation of the original Garmin unit - except that it can also be updated with the Navigraph database. It can be purchased for a one-off price here https://tdssim.com/tdsgtnxi
The PMS50 version is a mock-up of the original, not 1:1 but has some additional features that some people find useful. The free and payware version can be found here https://pms50.com/msfs/
What BlackSquare has done is provide 'toggles' in their aircraft that allow these payware GTN750 units to 'appear' inside their aircraft.

@Black-Square I now have the download, just trying to avoid any issues, as some has reported, I am open to advice on how to avoiding those.

@Black-Square I noticed the Bezel as an install, ok,...it's not.
