    Hi

I just upgraded to the new MSFS2020 World Update XIX and now I cannot pop out the GNS 530.

I get the cross hair cursor when I right-ALT and left click, but it does not pop out.

The GNS 430 does pop out.

    Anyone else having this issue?

This isn't something I am able to replicate on my end, so it may be caused by a conflict with another product/mod.

An easy way to test this will be to rename your Community folder to something like "Community.old", create a new community folder with just the PA28 installed, and then test this again in the simulator. If the GPS can then be popped out, the cause is likely to be a conflict between one of the other products/mods in the "Community.old" folder.

@Mark Unfortunately this did not work. The only item in my community folder is the Warrior.

When I clicked on the 530, there was a light flash of the whole screen like it was trying to do something but it did not pop out.

Does the popout open another window on a separate monitor perhaps? After popping out the GPS, you can check if there are multiple MSFS windows open on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

It may be worth trying an uninstall/reinstall of the PA28 just to see if that solves it. It's an odd one as it's not something I've come across before.

Unfortunately, I'm not too sure what else could be causing it. It's not an issue I ever recall hearing about.

It may be worth popping a message on the Working Title Discord. Link at the bottom of the following page: https://www.workingtitle.aero

Working Title are the developers of the GNS430/530 so this may be an issue they are familiar with and could point you in the right direction.

Hello, I have the same problem in FSim 2020. The GNS 530 gauge does not pop out. I have the crosshair cursor when keeping the rigt alt-button pushed but the window does not come up. The GNS 430 works. It thought the problem sticks to the WBSim C172 addon but it is also with the default C172. This is more than tragic as I have the RealSimGear GNS530 Device. Any help appreciated.

@sdkraemer I was able to get this working. I too have the RealSimGear GNS 530.

I have a 5 monitor set up. 3 main monitors (left, center, right), a small monitor (3x9 in) for gauges below the center and the RealSimGear GNS 530 also below the center (to the right of the gauge monitor).

In windows display settings, I moved the RealSimGear GNS 530 monitor to the right of the center display and aligned it with the top of the main display. When I popped out the GNS 530, it put in on the upper right of the right display.

So it was popping out the window, but to a non existing one. Rearranging them caused it to appear.

Somehow my monitors changed according to the sim.

I suggest moving your monitors around to see if this helps. Also, based on posts in the FS forum, you can delete your cloud data which maintains the location of the pop outs. I have not done this. Also, MSFS pop out manager https://github.com/hawkeye-stan/msfs-popout-panel-manager/releases, might help since you can tweak the position of the window. RealSimGear has instructions on how to use this on their web site.

I hope this helps. Let me know if it does.

Thanks for the swift response. Yes meanwhile the problem could also be solved here by moving my pc into the multi-monitor environment of my simulator setup. Having the sim connected to three monitors along with the realsimgear screen let's the popup appear. It has these black bars to the left and right but i remember that this can be adjusted ...
