Your best option would be to contact JF support directly if you are having a problem with one of their FSX or P3D aircraft. The FSX and P3D forum section here is pretty dead these days, but they should be able to help you if you're having a problem with a JF product.
Their support team is really good in my experience, even fairly recently when I needed to contact them about something, they're almost always still very helpful. You can find ways to contact them on these two web pages from their site:
https://www.justflight.com/contact-us
https://www.justflight.com/support
I was told by a Just Flight employee that they officially no longer support their old FSX and P3D products but in my experience, they usually still help (if they can) anyway. It certainly cannot hurt to try.

Actually, I may be able to help better than Just Flight now that I've read your question again. The version of Simmconnect you need depends on the version of FSX you have. There is FSX pre-SP1, FSX SP1, FSX SP2/Acceleration, and FSX:SE (Steam Edition). Each version has it's own version of simmconnect.
You can actually install all four versions you have downloaded if you want to. It's actually a good idea to install more than one version because some add-ons require the use of certain Simmconnect versions to work properly. So go ahead and install all four of them.
