I experience noticeable pitch oscillation during ILS approach on glide path with my autopilot on.
Not significant enough to put me off glide path but enough to be annoying.
When I turn off the autopilot and hand fly manually, then the oscillation is gone.

Is this RJ software issue or something Microsoft/Asobo needs to solve?
By the way, I have the real weather on in the sim. Same happens when I have the ActiveSky too.

Could I kindly ask you to open a ticket with Just Flight support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support

If you are able to provide as much information as possible, including a video and steps to reproduce if possible, then our support team will be best suited to assist.

    Hello,
today I observed the same situation as above.
Landing in RJSK ILS Z rwy 28, the plane oscillates constantly around the ILS glideslope.
Engines are slightly running up and down, nose diving up and down, as much as one dot above and under the glideslope.
At the end (300ft AGL) the plane was so far under it, that the CAT3 markings turned into a CAT2
    Constant headwinds 25 knots.
First time I observed, will try more when I get the time.

@karelvermeersch What speed were you travelling at? What stage of flaps did you have?

    @BBoaBrim
I was fully configured to land.
    Flaps 33, gear down, approach speed 122kts (117 per chart + 5)
The oscillation was noticeable as soon as the first stage of flaps was out (whilst slowing down from 180 all the way to app.speed) till the moment I disengaged the autopilot because of the (lack of) height above the runway…

The AP used to have really big issues going straight once you started slowing down, that seems to have improved a lot with the last few updates. When it happens, disable AP, trim the plane, and then re-enable AP. In my experience, that stabilises things for long enough to go through an entire arrival and approach.

I submitted a ticket about this problem over the weekend, but I had no idea that others were experiencing the same issue until the JustFlight guys responded.

Different plane, I know, but the F28 does the same, especially if there is a crosswind (I always fly with real weather). Like in the op's case, once you disconnect the autopilot the problem is gone.

Any update regarding this? I have relegated the RJ to the hangar until this has been corrected. By the way, why does it not affect everyone?

There are some improvements to pitch oscillations coming with the next update to the RJ. Unfortunately, we're not able to provide a firm time scale on that at the moment, as they will be included as part of a larger update which also upgrades the product to a native MSFS 2024 package, so there are a lot of moving parts involved.
