Ground effect
-
Hello dear team,
first of all I must say that the RJ is the release of the year 2024! Excellent rendition of an exciting and exotic aircraft.
I‘ve found some bugs / conspicuousnesses though.
The ground effect appears to be to too pronounced during landing ( here the RJ 70 ): with the aircraft being perfectly trimmed at speed and the Airbrake out at 200ft/AGL I do not habe to flare at all. As soon as the RJ comes into ground effect, it flares itself completely on it‘s own. Sometimes I even habe to apply some minor forward pressure on the yoke.
Maybe you could look into that, is this kind of kills the immersion for me upon the conclusion of the flight.
Thank‘s in advance and best regards!

Thank you for the feedback. With regards to the ground effect feedback, I don't believe this is something we have been fed back from the flight models in the 146 or RJ, but we will continue to monitor the forums for any other feedback. It is worth considering that a lightly loaded RJ70 will likely be more affected by ground effect than an RJ100 at maximum landing weight though.
It may also be worth experimenting with the "Turbulence" option in MSFS (located at MSFS Options > Assistance Options > User Experience). Setting this to LOW or MEDIUM can lead to more accurate wind conditions within the simulator at low altitudes (this is based on real pilot feedback from our testing teams).
