    Hi all,

I'm loving the RJ Pro, particularly hand flying. But to be effective at that, I need to trim and I've got this weird issue only on the RJ where my trim wheel on my flight stick isn't working. I've captured a small video to show the issue.

    YouTube video

In the first part of the video I'm trying using the wheel on my flightstick. Then I use the mouse to manually adjust the trim wheel to show the behaviour I'd expect.

Auto-trim assistance in MSFS is off (all pilot aids are off). It works fine in the DA42 and other aircraft with the same control profiles.

I saw mention in the manual about electric trim and disconnecting it using a click spot on the mic on the yoke but wasn't 100% sure what this referred to. I've tried that click spot - I hear something switch but it makes no difference.

I'm using the VelocityOne yoke kit - exactly the same behaviour with the trim wheel!

Thank you for reporting this. We don't have a VelocityOne yoke in-house to test this, so could you please let us know what control assignment the yoke is triggering? This can be found by going to MSFS Options > Control Options, then clicking on the yoke tab, then clicking on the "search by input" field, and then moving the trim wheel. I suspect it may be using the ELEVATOR TRIM AXIS control assignment, but it would be useful if we could confirm that.

@Mark Yes mine is mapped to elevator trim axis (with reverse ticked). Do you have trim configured to only a binary up / down rather than an axis?

Thanks for confirming. We have replicated those issues with the ELEVATOR TRIM AXIS (-100 to 100%) control assignment and have logged that on our internal bugs tracker. Our development team will investigate that ahead of the next update to the RJ Professional.

In the mean time, other elevator trim control assignments should function as normal. Such as ELEVATOR TRIM UP (NOSE UP) and ELEVATOR TRIM DOWN (NOSE DOWN).
