UNS custom waypoints

Hi there, I was just wondering if the UNS was able to do more advanced flight planning, such as position-bearing-distance waypoints or parallel tracks. If so, does anyone know of a resource I can use to learn how to do it?

The ‘real’ UNS-1 is capable of functions such as user defined waypoints and track-offset (SXTX).

Pseudo waypoints can be used to good effect when positioning for an ILS at airports such as Paris C de G where false localiser signals are all to common.

I will try and find time to establish if the JF146 model is up to the task.

Thank you! I would also be happy to experiment myself but I'm not familiar enough with the plane. Do you know if there is somewhere I can find more advanced instructions for the UNS-1?

You could try and find an original pdf copy of the ‘real’ UNS 1 Operator’s Manual online. There are at least five different versions that should all be covered by the one document.

I sure you will appreciate that the item in the JF146 may not contain all the functionality of the real thing.

Thank you! Yes, understood - I'm just trying to figure out what I can't do because I don't know how to do it Vs the aircraft doesn't support it.
Edit: just to confirm, these two functions are in the maneuver menu, pvor and sxtk. Unfortunately both are disabled in the justflight 146. Maybe for a future update! :)
