    Hi,

Simple issue with the transponder. It doesn't want to move from "GND" to "ALT" when on the ground. It also won't go to "STBY", either.

Hope this can be fixed, as ground controller at John Wayne when I was on PilotEdge asked me to turn on ALT, and I couldn't make it do it...

This is intentional logic for the GTX328 transponder. We have simulated it to reflect the real unit which has 'Automatic Airborne Determination'.

When the aircraft is on the ground, the transponder will only display "GND" and will not respond to ATCRBS interrogations. When the aircraft is airborne, ALT will be automatically displayed (if ALT has been pre-selected on the ground) and the transponder will respond to ATCRBS interrogations.

Ahh. Fascinating! "not a bug, but a feature" :)

I'm going to have to ask ATC how this is solved. After all, they say to operate transponders on ALT even on ground.
