WeatherSquare 4000 in Release Notes

Hi y'all,
the release notes of the new update mention:
- Added support for WeatherSquare 4000.
Can anyone enlighten me what that is?

That is a great question. I can't find anything online even using the word WeatherSquare. I'm inclined to think the word 'square' was a typo since the product is BlackSquare, however, I see nothing else close other than WeatherStar 4000 and that doesn't seem to have anything to do with MSFS lol

It is not a typo :) It also appears in the Duke 1.0 changelog, as it will in all my updates this summer.

A separate addon? bonus feature for the EFB's? maybe to give us some nostalgic weather briefing vibe to the awesome nostalgic aircrafts?

No, that is a Weather Channel simulator from what I can see. You can find web browser links that open it. It's the old WC display that used to be dominant on the cable network. You can go here to see in in action: https://battaglia.ddns.net/twc/#
That makes no sense to me to have in the sim. He specifically wrote WeatherSquare, not WeatherStar. -

Wow! You're the first one to see that message, to the best of my knowledge. It should be virtually impossible to trigger right now without developer mode. Do you get this message as soon as the aircraft is powered up with no other input? The state of the aircraft should always be initialized in such a way that this message is never visible. All I can guess is that you might have some 3rd party livery installed that overwrites the panel.cfg, which was updated in the last version of the aircraft. I can't think of how this could be possible, but it's somewhere to start. Please send me a screenshot if you have a few moments next time you have the simulator running.

I'm getting this error as well: "Black square's WeatherSquare 4000 Package not found. You should not be seeing this message." It's quickly flashing on the screen. I restarted the flight and it went away, but have seen it more than once. Any idea of what addon is to blame? I have a ton of stuff in my Community folder.
