    Hi,

I seems to have a problem with the animation of the APU startup. The gauges are hanging at 40% RPM and 600 degress TGT for a few seconds before moving on. In online videos I saw, that it is supposed to be a smooth animation. Is anyone else having this problem? Tried deinstalling it, even went through deleting all the extra folders with the state savings information etc. and reinstalled. But the problem persists.

Maybe it's supposed to work this way, but as I said, I saw it working without the pause in some tutorial videos.

    Best regards
    Stefan

That's not something I have ever seen reported before and I can't think of anything that may be causing that from our side. My best guess would be some form of conflict with another product, or a control assignment conflict.

If you could kindly raise a ticket with Just Flight Support via the following link, they will be able to help troubleshoot this with you: https://www.justflight.com/support

If you haven't already, would you be able to send a video of the issue to our support team so they can see the issue for themselves? Sometimes a video can help to show the issue better than text can.

Any large pauses of several seconds during the APU start are definitely not something we would expect to see, so I suspect support may just be mistaking this as being a similar issue to other APU-related tickets we receive.

I send them a Video. It was a bit big, so it was via a link. Is there a policy not to use links for Downloads on support tickets due to security concerns? Than I will try to compress it.

Any file size limits will likely be put in place by Freshdesk, the company we use for the support pages. I presume it's just to reduce their server load rather than a security issue.

If the file size is too big, a link to the video on YouTube or in cloud storage should be fine.

Just to add to this, I am able to start the APU with the L Inner fuel pump in the off position and with the APU LO FUEL PRESS annunciation illuminated.

Yes, that is intentional logic. The correct procedure is to switch on the L INNER fuel pump prior to starting the APU, but if it's not switched on the APU can draw its own fuel from the system (the same as the real aircraft).
