When enabled in the EFB, is the copilot supposed to be invisible in VR?
-
I was wondering why Enabling the copilot in the EFB didn't appear to do anything, but when I disabled it mid-flight while flying in VR with OnAir, the OnAir app complained that the cargo weight has suddenly dropped, so it looked like my invisible pilot was adding some actual weight to the plane, which is I suppose the main function of that setting.
I thought the display was somehow broken until I started a flight in 2D, and saw that my co-dude was actually sitting right there.... until I turned VR on again.
Is that some weird limitation of the sim that I never noticed before, or something to do with how Just Flight implemented the feature? Is there a way to force the copilot to display in VR?

From personal experience, the MSFS avatars do have some LOD issues that cause them to disappear from certain camera angles, so I suspect this is what may be occurring here.
When in VR, if you look around the cockpit does the co-pilot avatar ever become visible, or is it always invisible?

Someone mentioned this somewhere...can't remember where I read it...
Welcome Menu>Options> General>Misc>Pilot Avatar Settings...
Choose the same Avatar for both Pilot and Co-Pilot for your VR!
It worked for me when flying in VR...I can move my hat switch right and the co-pilot is always there.... I know longer have to be in landing mode as previously mentioned!
