Hide engine health from EFB engine pages
-
I would prefer not to see engine health percent on the engine pages. I would rather have the engine malfunction come as a surprise after continuous mistreatment of the engines, but sometimes I look at the engine pages to see what I may be doing wrong if unable to start for example, and that spoils the surprise of possible upcoming engine failure. Instead I would find it more suitable to move engine health indication to the failures page.

I would although prefer that you have an expert option setting which you can enable that you are not allowed any longer to fix broken components while you are in air to increase immersion even more. You can then only disable that option when the wheels touches the grounds.

@Marcel - I can see why an expert mode would be nice if it included both the “hide engine condition” and “don’t fix engine while airborne” things. But if it is just for disabling the “fix engine” option, we sort of already have that option: it’s called “self control” (hehe). With self control we can just choose to not click that button in the air, and without self-control it would only add a step to turn off expert mode and then click the engine fix button. 😉
