Let me start by saying WOW. This is hands down the absolute pinnacle of GA flight simulation on a PC thus far. I am in awe.

Only thing I can find wrong is, I can't move the tablet around, mousing over its edges doesn't change the cursor. Only can stow it. It otherwise works fine. Anyone else having this problem? It's hardly a problem, I am so glad just to have the aircraft now finally, but it would be nice to be able to move it around.

I couldn't move it either. I find I prefer it stowed most of the time though. I was mainly looking at cabin information for oxygen and temp data. I don't leave it open on the Comanche either. Hopefully he can provide a reason and/or fix at some point. Like you, I'm just super excited to have another BKSQ plane! ETA: I'm on SU14, if that matters.

This bug also occurs for me. The tablet cannot be moved and clicking on it to pop it into a window does not work either.

    MSFS PC version SU14.

I thought I noticed this on some of the preview videos, but none of my beta testers reported a problem. I have a hunch, though. Are you guys using the legacy interaction method, or the new "lock" method?

The clicking to pop-out should always work, though, because that's a core simulator function. Were you RIGHT ALT-clicking? When you hold down RIGHT alt, the cursor should turn to a magnifying glass, I believe.

I had the same issue earlier. Switching to the Lock interaction option (in the Accessibility settings) instead of Legacy allows it to be moved. After setting it where I want it, I changed back to Legacy. .

Sorry about that. I'll look into it. As a temporary solution, you might be able to scroll the mouse wheel on the bezel to move it. You could also assign the following L:Vars to a keyboard or hardware command if you have a favorite location for the tablet.

    L:var_efb_rot_x
    L:var_efb_rot_y
    L:var_efb_dist

Worked for me too. So the cause is the new "lock" method!

The pop out from the pocket works all the time. What I meant is the window mode is not working described in the video.

@Raller That's what I was referring to, as well. I have nothing to do with how that works, as it will work with any instrument in the simulator. Just make sure you are holding down the Right Alt key when you click on the instrument. This has tripped me up when troubleshooting with beta testers a number of times, because I can never remember which key to tell them to hold down.

If you can't get any instrument to pop out that way, tech support might have encountered this before, so I suggest you contact them. They have an extensive FAQ system for all things MSFS, while I only specialize in my own aircraft.

@Black-Square Thanks, I had a wrong key assigned. My fault.

@Black-Square I do use the legacy method. Thanks for pointing this out, I can switch to the lock method. They have their pros and cons, not a huge deal. =D

Glad it's working for you guys. I'll still see if there is something I can do to make it work with legacy mode.

For anyone reading this, I've seen the misconception that lock mode inevitably means the blue highlight. While this is the default setting, the blue highlighting and advanced tooltips can both be disabled completely in lock mode.

Unfortunately for me Ipad is unusable- regardless if it's in Lock or legacy mode. Only way I can operate it is by pop-up window...

    SU14, DX12

edit: by unusable I mean I cannot click on any of the fields- I can move it freely though

SU14 & DX12 - I could only move the tablet after switching to Lock mode.
It would be nice if it works in Legacy mode.

I like the lock mode much more, when you can click and drag a rotary knob to set the desired value.
But is it possible to disable the blue highlight of buttons and knobs in lock mode? It is quite annoying and I didn't find a way to get rid of it.

I got a mode that disable it, don't know if you own the C414, they included it in their installer otherwise I can send you another one I got from flightsim.to (but it has been removed when they changed their Term of use, and the following drama)
send me a private message if you are interested by, will found somewhere to upload you that

+1 To allowing it to work in Legacy mode; wish you could turn that dumb blue highlight off when you hover over click spots (Would be fine then lol)
