Tablet Screen Blank

Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but the tablet is blank when pulled out. I have tried turning on the battery and avionics master without and luck.

sound like something not loading properly.
have you tried relaunching the sim with no other mods ? maybe a conflict ? -
Have tried restarting my computer as well as relaunching. Will try with no mods enabled.

Looks like this might be a bigger issue. None of the digital portions of the gauges, IE system amps, volts, prop rpm, engine trend monitor etc seems to be working as well. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

are you running the SU15 beta ? I remember on the king air having some massive breakout in screen display related to avionics thought it was a pms50 issue, wich avionics are you using ? did you tried with only the duke in community folder ?
what is your hardware setting ? maybe a control panel sending wrong variable .... but even this would not explain the blank tablet :-/

I am not running the SU15 beta, but did do the full install with the WT patch. I am using the PMS GTN 750. I am using an x56 and logitech rudder pedals. Will try only the duke in the community folder. Should have also noted I am using only the turbine duke, not the package with both variants.

I sincerely hope the dev will fast come to you and you will be able troubleshoot and find what s going on.
Maybe it could be worth it trying to open a ticket, maybe in JF support they heard about similar issues -
Do you have the Horizon 787-9 Mod installed and if so, are you using the latest hotfix version v1.1.2?

I'm happy to hear that I am not alone with this exact problem :D
The tablet is black and I can see a faint "selftest screen" on the weather radar and on the transponder. Guess they are the standard textures when there is no overlay shown. The engine trend monitor is also not working. Analog engine instruments all seem to work fine.
Happens both for Turbine and Piston versions. On the BS-TBM everything works fine.
Already tried to repair via the installer and reinstalling SU15 with no luck so far. -

Thank you for being descriptive about the problem you're experiencing. Whenever tech support receives tickets were the weather radar screen is stuck like that, it is indicative of an avionics server crash. This is almost always caused by a mod conflict. If you've recently made the recommended change to the WT GNS 530/430, that could also be a possible source of error.
I recommend first trying the aircraft with a completely empty community folder. If that does work, let me know and we can troubleshoot together. Support may also have some recommendations, as they've gotten quite good at troubleshooting mod conflicts with my other aircraft.

I cleared out my community folder and that did not help the situation. I didn't have a lot of mods other than scenery. I did recently do the patch, how would I know if it wasn't done correctly?

Have you tried loading the GNS 530 in another aircraft, like the default C172 Classic? You could also revert the patch (hopefully you saved a copy of the original files. If not, you could delete the WT530.js, and the simulator should download a fresh copy next time it loads). This might allow the avionics to load so you can see if that was the problem, but you will still need to make the patch correctly for the autopilot to work as expected.

Will give that a shot. I did save the original files for those. Will report back my findings.

@Black-Square Don't want to hijack the troubleshooting session, but thank you for the hint with the community folder. In my case I renamed the original folder, after which both duke versions started to work properly after a re-installation. I then tried singling out the one add-on causing the problem. It turned out that "pms50-instrument-gtn750" was most likely the culprit. Might have to do with a parallel installation of the TDS GTNXi module. Now everything works perfectly. Thank you again for the help :)

So it looks like, I must have not done the patch correctly as it seems to be working now. Hopefully I did the patch correctly this time.

I suspected that might be the case, as I've seen it a few times now. There's a nice little tutorial on the official forums if you have any more trouble. Let me know how it goes!
