    Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue so wanted to check…

I am a real world pilot currently training in the PA38. I’ve noticed some odd behaviour with the JF MSFS version. When stationary on the ground the rudder peddles will not move. This is normal behaviour. However, in the real aircraft, you can roll forward gently at a VERY slow pace and as soon as you do, the nose wheel will steer. On Msfs, I have to move forward quite fast before the nose wheel is free to move. This makes taxiing very frustrating and unrealistic. I wanted to check in case it’s something in my settings. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Do you perhaps have FS Realistic installed? We have received reports of a similar effect from FS Realistic users and they were able to fix this by disabling the prop wash effect within FS Realistic.

It may also be worth checking that your rudder axis sensitivity curve is linear (a straight line): https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000140463-optimal-controller-sensitivity-settings

Hi Mark, yes I do! This gives me hope! I’ll try that tomorrow and will post my findings, just in case others experience the same issue.

    Thanks for the response!

I have the same issue but this did not fix it. I removed FS Realistic, de-installed the Tomahawk, re-installed the Tomahawk, and still not right rudder. Any more ideas?
