Selecting turnaround panel state, course selector not working
-
Hi folks,
I’ve noticed that on numerous occasions when I start the 146 and select the turnaround state, the HSI course selectors no longer work. This means I have to quit and start MSFS again, which is most frustrating, as it takes ages.

@rondon9897 I have just tested this and the course selectors work as normal after selecting the 'Turnaround' state on the EFB.
Do you perhaps have the HSI source selector on the instrument panel set to RNAV? If it's set to RNAV, the course indicators on the HSIs will point to the next waypoint based on the route entered in the FMS. If they are set to NAV, the course indicators will point in the direction selected by the course selectors.

No Mark it’s set to NAV. I’ve just done it again and it’s happened again

@rondon9897 Are there any failure flags visible on the HSI when this occurs? If so, that would indicate the HSI isn't being supplied with electrical power, so it may be worth checking that both batteries and both avionics master switches are on the overhead panel. Even with a state selected, if some MSFS control assignments are being triggered that could prevent those switches from moving to the correct positions.
Other than that, I'm not sure what else could be causing that through the 146 itself. The 'Turnaround' logic is fairly simple logic and just sets the various cockpit switches in the correct position for a turnaround, it doesn't specifically touch anything to do with the course selectors.
If there are any error messages on the EFB such as 'loading aircraft' or 'license failure', then this would indicate a possible activation or simconnect issue that could also be preventing the 146 from initialising correctly.
