Has anyone else had a problem with the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant? Both have gone non-linear, nothing from 0 to 25%, then OK up to about 75% and a jump from there to 100% power on one, and the other starts off OK then at about 50% jumps to 100% power. Had no response from Thrustmaster on this.

The default controller preset for the Thrustmaster TCA Throttle Quadrant can be quite problematic for a lot of aircraft, as the default preset is set up to be used with the default A320 NEO, so if you wish to use the throttle quadrant with any other aircraft, I would recommend creating a new generic controller preset. To do this:

    1. Go to MSFS Options > Controls Options
    2. At the top of the page, click on the tab with the name of your throttle quadrant
    3. At the bottom of the page, go to Open Preset Manager > Duplicate
    4. Enter a name for the new controller preset (for example "Generic")

With the new controller preset created, this can now be edited so that it does not conflict with any other aircraft. As a starting point, I would recommend deleting all controller assignments on that new preset apart from the THROTTLE AXIS control assignments, and then in the sensitivities tab, ensure that the sensitivity curves for the two throttle axis are linear (straight lines).

You should then have a basic controller preset set up with just two throttle axis assigned that will work on any aircraft in the simulator, and you can then add further control assignments to other axis/buttons/switches on the hardware as desired.

    I hope that helps.

Thanks for that, apologies if I sound thick, but in FSX Settings/Controls, all I can find is the calibration page, and that is only allowing me to see what's happening. FSUIPC is the same, however, I've sorted it.
Removed all of the Thrustmaster software, reinstalled the drivers and followed their calibration procedure (should have done that in the first place).
Removed all of the joystick and buttons functions in FSX. Not doing that resulted in some weird control functions.
Disabled the virtual buttons on the throttle quadrant
Set up the controls using FSUIPC.
    All now OK

Apologies, I assumed you were using MSFS as that's the sim we typically see compatibility issues for with the TCA throttle quadrant, so the steps listed will not be relevant to FSX.

Glad you to hear you got it sorted though. It sounds like it was a similar issues with the default control assignments perhaps causing a conflict, so removing them and reassigning them through FSUIPC fixed it.
