Why multicrew/sharing cockpit function will add such a big value to this addon... (and others)
-
Dear JF staff,
As @Kenzo already mention it in his post. I cannot thank you enough for the joy your bring back into my simulation sessions. I was bored of modern IFR, I knew by heart all those modern jets that everybody is flying online... I didn't expect to be attracted by an addon again, especially an old classic airplane. This is so cool to see how much I was wrong about it, thanks!
I remember the beautiful Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100 in FSX. It was a 2D cockpit only but the systems and the sound were just perfect. I flew so many Helvetic and KLM's flights with it. It was just a wonderful addon.
But I also remember one special thing about it; a fully functional cockpit sharing feature. You could connect with someone and fly the bird with EVERYTHING sync'. It was smooth and reactive, amazing job by DA.
With the release of MSFS2020 I am kind of sad that devs didn't even prioritize multicrew feature as a default one. I don't understand why simulators has always been so distant with this option, it became logic to fly alone, and non-standard to ask for multicrew. Kind of paradoxal for a commercial pilot point of view.
When P3D was at its pick, we had Aerosoft Airbus & CRJ, Majestic Software DH8D and MD80 Maddog with multicrew feature.
I cannot lie... It would be amazing if the F28 could have this feature. I will definitely invite non-simmer friend to buy and install it, in order to fly together. This aircraft is made for two pilots (especially the take off xD).
But I do understand the complexity behind such feature...
Do you have any plan considering it? Do you need help about it?
Cheers,
