AI Aircraft flying at low altitude
-
It would be nice for JustFlight to clarify AI cruising altitude since all of their flight plans list a cruising altitude of 36000 feet, even for flights between airports barely 100 NM apart. Can you confirm that an AI flight at 8000 feet or lower leaves a contrail?

@art_p No it does not leave a contrail.
Well, I see aircraft in my vicinity on the VFR map, then look up and see a contrail. I assume that aircraft is above 8000 feet and much more. I don't know how the flights at altitude are generated since no traffic appears at lower altitudes to/from nearby airports except associated with the departure and destination airports.
