Installation in a selected folder

Just bought the F28. Unfortunately I didn´t find in the installation process an option to install the F28 in a selected folder (other than MSFS community folder).
Is it safe just to move the entire F28 folder to a directory of my choice - a community folder to be used with AddonsLinker?
