Error, won't even run.

Hello, I just now bought it and installed it. When I try to run the Traffic Control Centre nothing happens. So I look din the Event Viewer and I find an application error. This happened three times so now I'm trying to figure this out. In MSFS I get the traffic box from the drop-down menu onscreen but nothing.

Have you tried uninstalling, re-downloading and re-installing it? Perhaps a file got corrupted as it was being downloaded/installed.

@bpfonteyn Hi, thanks. Not yet. I was waiting for advice so I'll try this. On my downloads here it tells me there's two versions, so I downloaded and installed the newest one. I'll try again.

There are two programmes for you to download and install. One of them is the main product, the other is all the aircraft.

@bpfonteyn Dang. I wish someone, anyone would have told me that when I bought it. All I see is two versions of the same program.

I downloaded both and installed the main product first. Then installed the aircraft files. The main programme may even give you a choice to download and install the aircraft files from within. I can’t remember.

@bpfonteyn I installed the main program but it never told me to run another. So I'm downloading the other now and will run it and see what happens. Thanks.

@jackswyr It works fine now. Thanks for your excellent help. One question though, how do I prevent it from running if I do not want any traffic at all? I know I can turn it off in-sim but is there a way to actually prevent it from running at all?

You have an option in the traffic control centre settings tab to disable FS Traffic. You could also move the justflight-fstraffic-module folder out of you community folder.
