    Hello,
Congrats to the JK team on the new release of the 146. Beautifully rendered and so far fun to fly - so far. Since I was a passenger many times on a 146 in consulting days, when I saw that JF was coming out with one I knew I had to have it.

I'm still a small jet newbie, so bare with me if this is a dumb question. In full disclosure, after I installed it, I just jumped in and wanted to takeoff from the runway. Everything seemed pretty normal on takeoff and during the flight, but upon approach and landing I noticed that my standard assignment for the flaps were not working as I was used to them functioning. Button 9 and 11 are used by the Logitech extreme 3D Pro, but worked erratically. I just couldn't get them to deploy on approach. I suspect, it was pilot error :) because I was coming in too fast. But they didn't deploy further out to help me slow down either. I'm sure it's a jet related parameter by design, that may not let me deploy them as I have on other GA models in my stable. Or, it may be a slight bug buried in the code. Perhaps I should read the manual. ;)

@redjr In front and just a bit to the right of the flap lever there is a flat switch, when that is activated the flaps will not work. It happened to me that i must have touched some keystroke hat activated that.

@bentree Thanks for that bit of information. I knew it something I missed. I haven't tried it yet, but will. Maybe it will help with my next landing. :)

@bentree That is the solenoid operated speed baulk switch - if it's up then you are going too fast. Try to get below 220 kts ish before deploying first notch of flaps (flaps 18).
