146 hardware requirements

Hello,
I’d like to get the 146 Professional to use on my reasonably well running stock P3Dv4 installation (with ActiveSky) however I’m not sure about how steep the actual HW requirements are. The info on product page says 4GB graphics card is required.
I do have my old 2GB GeForce 660Ti on i7-3.5Ghz, 16Gb RAM win10 system, due to current sustaining chip shortage market situation and ridiculous prices of a few occasionally available graphics cards ($1000+ generally) I can’t upgrade the card so far…
Question is - is the 146 usable with 2GB card if texture resolution is tuned down to let say 1024 size and other sim graphics also scaled down accordingly?
I have installed and using for instance Carenado EMB 120 P3D, but graphics options tuned down as described.
So is it possible to run 146 on such older system, or should wait with it until I buy a decent graphics card later?
