Airport substitute option

hey guys
I didnt find anywhere in the manual about what this option does under compile in traffic global...
What does it do exactly? what is it used for?
Suppose take the qatar airport for eg..
The default doha airport in FSX is OTDB..however that is shut since long and the new airport is OTHH. I have the add on scenery for it. My question is what exactly does airport substitute option do in this case and what must i enter?
