Western Mainlines and 3rd Party addons Questions

Hi,

I'm fairly new to TS Classic and therefore am a bit overwhelmed with all of the different addons etc.

My questions are related to but not necessarily limited to the Western Mainlines bundle.

So being quite new to the franchise my current collection of routes/stock/etc is quite limited, the Western Mainlines bundle is something that really interests me as I like running the longer UK based routes, with that in mind, do I need to own all of the different loco's and stock addons to get this route to work? My main reason for asking is obviously there is a lot of additions needed for some of the scenarios which will make buying everything together extremely expensive, and somewhat more worryingly for me, some of the required addons like the Arriva DMU pack are no longer available to purchase.

Also as a side question but also related to WM, one of the requirements is the Class 70 Freightliner, now looking it up on steam shows that I don't own it, but when I go in game I have a Class 70 (Powerhaul) available to drive in free roam, am I right in thinking they're two completely separate addons?
