I use a hardware axis for elevator trim in MSFS. Ever since SU5, the trim axis has reversed direction in all the stock aircraft and the Carenado Seneca V. But in the Turbo Arrow, my old trim settings continue to work as before. As a result, I now need to reverse the trim axis in my control settings whenever I switch from a stock airplane to the Turbo Arrow (or vice versa). Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure if I would call it a bug, since all the other airplanes have changed while the Turbo Arrow remains the same as it always has been.

Hi, I have the exact same issue since the SU5 with an hardware elevator trim wheel. The axis has been reversed on all the other ASOBO aircraft but not on the PA-28s.

On the other hand, by using standard key bindings or ELEV_TRIM_UP / DN SimConnect events, there is no reverse direction issue between the stock aircraft and the PA-28.

I also find that we now have to put much more nose down trim on the Turbo Arrow than before, but that's another subject.

Not a great solution, but it is worth paying for FSUIPC.

It allows automatically switching profiles for different aircraft and reversing axes is simple.

Also has loads of other features.

But I agree, JF should and may indeed, fix it so it is consistent with the default MSFS controls system.

In the meantime, the paid version of FSIUPC will do the job.

@gabe777 Thanks for the tip. I have SPAD.next, not yet use Flight Velocity Trim wheel custom settings, but that might be worth giving a try.

Never used SPAD. So can't comment on it.

But as for FSUIPC, it scared me to death at first as it looked so complicated. But now, I couldn't do without it.

Even just for calibrating joystick axes it's worth it, as it's better than the MSFS system -- which for some hardware is a nightmare -- and it completely overrides it.

And although not as much is working yet as it did in P3D etc., due to MSFS limitations, he's adding more stuff when he's able to.

Same issue, and the Hawk T1 as well.

Weirdly enough this happens with Asobo's JU52 as well but none of their other planes.

Just took the Piper Turbo Arrow III out for a spin after today's update, trim axis 0 to -100 isn't working for some reason. It's fine the other way.

It's also broken on the Turbo Arrow IV as well as the Arrow III.

    Confirming the same behavior here.
With a trim bound to an axis on -100 to 100, only the 0 to 100 is working. trim is stuck on 0 when trying to up the nose
