new airport does not replace defualt airport

i had installed an addon airport into p3d. when i open the airport in p3d i see the airport loaded in the simulator but also the old defualt airport is still active in that same area. the airlines are parked at the defualt airport and i dont see any at the new airport i installed into addon scenery. how do i make the new airport replace the defualt one so i dont see the old airport in the same location as the new one?
