Train Sim World|Ayshire Coast Line|A Modern Day ScotRail Suggestion
-
Introduction
Hello! Welcome back to another suggestion. I remember when I first joined these forums I suggested this but my suggestion making skills are alot better now and I thought I could Include a bit more detail on the route. The Ayshire Coast Line is my local line and I travel on it very frequently and see trains on it every day. It has a great selection of trains and a even better quality of route with fantastic scenary on the mainline and branch lines. So, without further ado, let's get started.Rolling Stock
Class 380
This train is one of the most iconic and best Scotrail train. This is the Class 380 Desiro. It was built for commuter service but runs and feels like a express train. It, like other units, has the iconic Desiro whuuuring sound when accelerating and decelerating. But there's something special about this desrio. It has a tilted front. Wich, with the flick of a switch, can be angled for coupling. I always found this fascinating and is a feture you'll only see on the class 380 at least in the UK. The angled front works as a gangway for passengers to travel through trains when coupled. In the passager are, these train have very comfortable seats with table bays of 4 in the middle and airline style seats near the end. They have double doors that beep and have a button to open. There is a pis screen in each carrige displaying subtitles for anouncements and telling you when your approaching a station, what station your at, your calling points and where the train is for. There is also eletricly operated doors between the coaches wich can be opened with a push of a button. In each middle coach there is a toilet. On the class 380/0 varient, there is one disabled access toilet with seating for people with bycicles or a wheelchair. On the class 380/1 varient there is a disabled toilet in one middle coach and a sliding door toilet in the other middle coach.
if this route/train got made I would like to see both varients in the game preferably with mixed concists of 7 coaches. And 8 coaches at peak time. 4 coaches for some services and the occasional 3 coach services as well. The route
This route is a total of 43 miles (69km) wich is perfect for rivet games. The route will include the branch line to adrossan harbour/Largs. This route is very scenic and includes Saltcoats where you can see the waves splashing against the trains.

This is my local route and I'd give anything to see it in the game. I'm not the only one who thinks it would be a great route and this route is loved by many Scots because of it's comfort, speed and scenary. That's everything you could want from a route as a passager. Now you get to drive it! I hope you enjoyed reading this suggestion!
