Before I understood the engine went down, so I've pulled out the air start checklist, making sure to also remember to use either Wing Pump or Aux Pump (tried with both). The engine started nicely, there was fuel pressure and later flow, even the generator produced proper power, but there was no way to get the torque back so for thrust producing purposes the engine was pretty much dead weight, it only produced drag

I think I've tried all possible combinations and couldn't fix it, other than by removing the pump failure from the EFB.

Should it not just be enough to turn on one of the pump options with the switch to get a nice air start?

In general it seems like something is wrong with the failure multiplier. With the Baron and 5x failures I was getting roughly a failure every 25 hours. Here I've set it to 10x and got 3 failures in 2 flights, including some pretty high MTBF ones. I would assume it has some systems more, so it can be expected to get them more often, but not that often

Thanks!

I'll fix that right now, and see if I made the same mistake in some of my other turbine aircraft. Thanks for pointing it out.

As for the MTBF, I guess that's what makes it random, because it's exactly the same code in all my aircraft. A lot of the MTBF numbers are the same between the piston and turbine Duke, but the turbine engine components are generally much more reliable than those in piston engines.
