I was at FL300, 40 NM from TEDGO, when ATC instructed me to be level at FL260 over the waypoint. When I entered the altitude constraint in the FMC (TEDGO / FL240), PERF page showed a vertical deviation of +9,999 ft, which didn't seem right, as I should have needed around 18 NM to make a proper descent.
Is this a bug, or did I do something wrong?

Kind regards
