<![CDATA[Spontaneous engine failure with no engine issues showing in EFB]]>Out of nowhere tonight I'm having really weird issues with the Commander. I started up normally like always, then about 5 minutes later as I was about to taxi the engine shutoff, and I got the MSFS default "engine malfunction" warning. Went ahead and repaired my engine which was at 99% though showing no other failures for anything in the EFB, but it made no difference. Quit the game and installed the 1.1a patch which I didn't realize was available, started the flight again and the engine started, then a few minutes later the same thing happened? What in the world is going on?

A similar thing happened to me in the Bonanza a while ago and somehow Aircraft Engine Damage had gotten enabled, maybe by a sim update.
