I know you’re probably very busy working on fixes and improvements, but I think many people in the community would really appreciate some news about updates for the existing aircraft. I think it's more important do us then new aircraft.

In one of the threads you mentioned that you were working on a summer update. Over time, quite a few posts with reported issues have been marked by you as fixed, acknowledged, or planned for a future update. Some of those threads are now more than a year old.

A lot of us are also wondering whether the newer features and systems, such as the improved engine behaviour, mixture and fuel consumption modelling, and the generally more realistic engine simulation, will eventually be added to some of the older aircraft too, like the Duke, Baron, Bonanza and others. There are many improvements in the newer products that would be great to see introduced into the earlier releases as well.

Would you be able to share a rough idea of your update plans when you have some time? Even something very general would help, for example which aircraft you would like to focus on first, what order you are considering, and roughly how often you expect updates to come.

Over the last several months, many users have spent a lot of time reporting issues, researching technical details and providing sources and reference material. There is a huge amount of useful information in those threads now. After such a long time, some people probably do not even remember everything they reported, so it would be really helpful to know what is still on your list and what we can realistically expect in the future.

I understand that updating existing products is probably not the most exciting or profitable part of development. At the same time, I think regular updates can make a big difference in the long term. They keep products alive, give people a reason to come back to them, encourage recommendations, and build confidence that an aircraft will continue to improve after release.

Please don’t take this as criticism. It is simply a request for a little more communication with the community about your plans for the existing aircrafts.

I think even a short and general roadmap would be greatly appreciated by many of us.
