All was good until at 12,000ft, after a descent from FL290 in Nav mode. I went to set my next altitude to 4000ft and as soon as I turned the ALT knob the AP malfunctioned: It reset the next waypoint to the previously past waypoint and started a 180 degree turn back, I could not turn off NAV mode to switch to heading. I had to disconnected the AP, I never could turn off NAV mode....basically the AP was locked up and non-functional. Definite bug that simply turning the ALT knob on the AP would cause such a malfunction. I had to hand fly the rest of the flight.</p>
